TOM WYNER @ Delta H Con 2018

Tom Wyner

was raised in Hollywood CA, was in my first film at the age of 10, then the lead in another (3rd prize at Venice International Film Festival) at 14. Moved to Santa Cruz CA in 1965 to
become a member of the first freshman class at UC Santa Cruz, graduating with a BA in Psych (they didn’t have a theater arts dept. back then). Went back to LA for a year, appeared in
dramatic TV and soaps. Moved to Berkeley CA in 1972 and performed with the Berkeley Shakespeare Festival (2 seasons), Berkeley Stage Co., and 3 years touring the U.S. with the
New Shakespeare Co. of San Francisco. Moved to Ashland OR in 1979 to perform with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for two seasons and two California state-wide tours. Moved to
San Jose CA for the opening season of San Jose Rep.in 1981, then back to Hollywood for a 25 year career as a voice actor, writer, casting director, ADR (dialogue) Director, and
Producer. (For most of this work I’m listed on IMDB and Wikipedia as Tom Wyner.) Moved back to Oregon late in 2005 and began a new career as an audio book narrator ( more than 250
audio books; listed as Tom Weiner on audible.com). Moved back to Santa Cruz early in 2016.
I love animals–at one time had a 15 foot albino python, a 5 foot green iguana, an 18 in. bearded dragon lizard, 2 cats and a lab.
The most fun, educational and interesting years of my life were those I spent touring the U.S., which is probably why I enjoy attending conventions so much. I love meeting fans and
people from different places and cultures.
I’ve fallen in love-at-first-sight twice in my life, and would love to do so again.

Robert Axelrod cancelled appearance

*Cancelled* ROBERT AXELROD @ Delta H Con 2018

Robert Axelrod

has carved a career in show business that runs the gamut. Born and raised in New York City, he did commercials and theater as a child and teen, eventually ending up in the Soho Avant-garde theater scene in a show called “Little Trips”, then Off-Broadway in a play called “The Destroyers”. Axelrod left acting for the world of music. He spent eight years as a working rock musician playing electric bass and singing in folk, rock and soul bands. Music brought him to Los Angeles where he decided to return to acting, a decision he never regrets.

Since then, Robert has appeared in over thirty feature films including four with Charles Bronson, the Sci-Fi hit remake “The Blob” with Kevin Dillon, the cult horror classic “Sorority House Massacre”, the 1985 TV live action film “Alice in Wonderland” and many others. Television appearances include guest star roles on “Amazing Stories”, “Star Trek Voyager”, “Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show”, and a recurring role on “The Neighbors”. He also starred in the Michael Jackson music video “Stranger in Moscow”, and the horror dark comedy, “The Revenant”.

Robert is also a busy voice over artist. He was introduced to the anime world as Banner the squirrel in the 1979 television series, “Seton Dôbutsuki Risu no bannâ” (“Banner the Squirrel”). From there, he went to on provide vocal life to beloved characters in “Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds” (as Blue Falcon), “The Smurfs and the Magic Flute” (as Brainy Smurf), “Robotech” the television series (as Rico), and many more.

His voice acting career propelled him into the spotlight in 1994 when people were introduced to his villainous character Lord Zedd and monster-maker Finster on the successful children’s television series “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers”. These two roles were so successful that he made appearances in the first Power Rangers feature film, the live show tour, and provided voices for multiple other villains spanning the Alien, Zeo, Space, Lost Galaxy, and Time Force series.

Between his time on the Power Rangers, Robert found time to lend his voice to anime projects such as “Spider-Man” (as Microchip), “Beetleborgs Metallix” (as Piranha Khan), “Akira”, “The Big O”, “Cowboy Bebop”, and “Transformers” (as Movor) and multiple characters on “Digimon” such as Wizardmon, Armadillmon, and Vademon. Afterwards, he did anime series, “Gaiking”, “Danguard Ace”, “Captain Horlock”, “The Adventures of Nadja”, and “Fist of the North Star”.

Robert recently completed filming “Check It Out! With Dr. Steve Brule” and can be seen in upcoming projects “Booneville Redemption”, “”The Clapper”, and “Induced Effect”. When Robert is not in the studio, he can be found touring the convention circuit giving panels on voice acting and meeting his fans or at home perfecting his next character vocal creation.
