Remembering The Bit Wars of The 90’s

Before the XBox, Before Playstation, and even Before The Switch, 90’s kids had their choices of two 16-bit systems: The Sega Genesis/Mega Drive and the Super Nintendo/Super Famicom. The 90’s brought upon the Bit Wars, a battle between two 16-bit systems that people cherish to this day. From marketing campaigns to mascots to the many successes and epic failures in both Nintendo and Sega’s part, this battle between the two consoles from the late 1980’s until the end of the 16-bit era, both companies fought tooth and nail until a king would be crowned. This panel will discuss the tactics, games, and other things that were used during what gamers call The 16-Bit War.
