Oliver a.k.a. LittleSquidPrince

is a Texas-based cosplayer and creator specializing in craftsmanship and putting on a performance in every cosplay he wears. A long-time cosplayer and con-goer since 2012, and crafting and competing since 2018, Oliver has put together 50+ cosplays ranging from handmade, modified, thrifted, and simply purchased. His first step in planning every cosplay is “how can I make this unique to me?”. Standing out and entertaining folks is always his goal, wanting to make others smile.

He has won multiple cosplay awards such as “Best in Show” for Delta H Con 2021, “Best in Performance” for Anime Houston 2021, “2nd Place Intermediate” for Aggiecon 52, “Best Intermediate Performance” for Anime Frontier 2023, amongst a few others. He has hosted dozens of panels and guested for the very first time earlier this year where he also judged a cosplay contest.

As a cosplayer who is Asian, transgender, and neurodivergent, Oliver advocates heavily on cosplay being for everyone. He is always willing to teach and share his own techniques and tips to fellow cosplayers whether they are just starting out, or are a cosplay veteran. Cosplay is his passion, and he loves to spread that positive message to all.

When he isn’t crafting his next cosplay project, you can find him crafting a yummy latte as a barista, drawing on his laptop, collecting anime figurines, or rambling on about whatever media he’s currently obsessed with. Don’t ask him about Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Sonic the Hedgehog, Godzilla, or Promare unless you have some time to kill!

Sephi Hakubi

is an electronic dance DJ and multi-media producer from Coral Springs, Florida; now based in San Antonio, Texas, who pioneered AnimEDM, a lifestyle and culture combining otaku fandom with nightlife rave influences. Sephi manages HakubiVerse, an entertainment label that focuses on producing and promoting AnimEDM content and events all over the world. Beyond HakubiVerse, Sephi is also associated with many dance music collectives such as Team Brisk, 3Kings, Keep Austin Hard, and Neon Genesis Hardcore. Sephi utilizes his experiences in many of his interactions to become what he’s described as a “multi-media culture masher”, establishing the correlation between anime and electronic music. Sephi strives to make the electronic dance community relevant for fans by formulating his AnimEDM philosophy, a style of unique sounds and sights influenced from Progressive House, Trance, Eurodance, Hard Dance, and Hardcore music with Japanese inspirations. This AnimEDM philosophy encourages a place of friendship, musical freedom, and celebration for anime and rave fandom in hopes for providing a community for fans, known as Nightkids, seeking a realm of hope and happiness.
Sephi Hakubi’s style and philosophy amassed significant attention in the anime and rave scene as he performed for the masses at FAN:dom Con, San Japan, SukoshiCon, Realms Con, IKKiCon, Okashicon, Anime Sekai, MechaCon, Animatic Con, Anime Oklahoma, Banzaikon, Waifufest, and Kawacon; as well as, festivals such as, Unite As One, Tonyc Summer Jam, and Texas Silent Disco. Sephi was also honored to perform alongside internationally recognized DJs like JES, Darude, Fracus & Darwin, Ferry Corsten, BT, Kenneth Thomas, Jimni Cricket, Zoe VanWest, Kohei Hattori, Donald Glaude, Levenkhan, Hartshorn, JJ Flores, Made Monster, Steve Smooth, Maromi, AliceOfSin, NeoQor, FYER (Bobby Duque & Gabriel Guardian), and Shawn Jackson. These experiences brought Sephi much valued wisdom during his adventures playing with world-renowned industry performers and these interactions and experiences would inspire his music with productions like Oceandrive and Once Upon a Space.
