The Formal is back on Saturday night this year!

As the moon rises, join us on July 13th, 2024 at The Main Events (Ballroom E-H), transformed into a realm where mythical creatures reign supreme. Don your finest attire and prepare to be captivated by an atmosphere of dark elegance and fiery enchantment. Walk through a dragon’s lair, surrounded by the glow of flickering lanterns and mystical symbols. Dance the night away beneath dragon wings and demonic silhouettes, as red and gold hues bathe the room in a mesmerizing light.

Formal Dance Rules

1. No alcohol or drugs are permitted in the dance at any time.
2. Handbags are subject to search, and bags larger than a handbag are not permitted inside dance spaces.
3. Staff will not watch over bags, jackets, or other loose items you do not wish to bring to the dance floor. DHC assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen property.
4. Staff may initiate a search for alcohol or drugs at any time.
5. No bulky cosplay or large props are allowed in the dance space.
6. Shoes must be worn at all times in the dance space.
7. Stringing is Not allowed at the Formal.
8. Attendees are not allowed on stage unless asked.
9. Attendees are not allowed to jump off the stage.
10. There is a zero-harassment policy enforced. There will not be a warning given. There will be immediate expulsion from the dance with badge revoked if you attempt to sneak back in.

Formal Dance Dress Code

Appropriate dress shoes.

No flip flops or sneakers allowed.
