Pathfinder’s inspirations are as diverse as the players who play it and the authors who write about it. In this panel, Linda Zayas-Palmer and Mark Seifter take a look at where Pathfinder and anime (and animation in general) intersect. Topics Include:
*Players building characters based on their favorite anime
*Gameplay styles to mimic various subgenres common in anime including high-octane shounen battles and creepy youkai ghost stories
*Designing new rules inspired by anime and similar animation, including the Magical Child vigilante inspired by the Magical Girl trope, the elemental blasting kineticist class with Avatar the Last Air Bender as one inspiration, and more!
