PPE Safety in Cosplay – Ren Cosplay

Something that people don’t talk about enough! As a part of cosplay, we use a lot of sprays, paints, and substances that are very toxic. I do work in federal regulations for pharmaceuticals so I’m bringing my knowledge on substance safety to the con! I go over the different masks and respirators that should be used based off of the material being used. I also will have my own respirator present for people to look at. A lot of people practice proper PPE when crafting but sometimes it’s not something that is obvious to many.
