Kieshar
is a Texas-based, award-winning, cosplayer. Started cosplaying in 2007 as Roy Mustang and Unknown Riku. Absolutely fell in love with everything about it, creation, wearing, people’s reactions and walking the stage with anybody they could grab that was Kingdom Hearts. Since then, created 60+ builds with props. They are a self-taught sewist with a passion for detail, texture and color.
Background in fine arts painting. 20 years as a professional illustrator and 15 years selling art and crafted items in the artist alley of local anime/comic cons. Had a paradigm shift during the pandemic. Dropped the graphic novel project of 10 years and completely committed to the only thing feeding their soul, cosplay.
Heavily competes in craftsmanship. Recently won Best in Hallway AnimeFest 2024 with Goosestarian. Adores learning all types of skills for creating general cosplay and competition builds. Specializes in texture, sculpting, painting effects, color and sewing. Loves a character mash-up every now and then.
