is a pop idol from the heart of Texas. She made her start on Youtube with song and dance covers in 2014, and now focuses on performing live all across the country. As a child she developed an interest in anime which turned into a love and appreciation for Japanese culture, especially music. She spends her time planning great content for online videos and live performances, each time trying something new. Her charm point is her high energy and desire to interact with new people. Paida’s ultimate goal is to go international and perform at great stadiums and concert halls in Japan. Sugar Joiko is an American electronic pop singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist based in Houston, Texas.

Joiko is currently notable for her music cover videos found on YouTube where she became a global sensation for her reinterpretations of popular songs in both English and Japanese. Her most favored Jpop tune, “Flavor of Life” by Utada Hikaru, scored Joiko an opportunity to represent the United States on Japan’s most popular televised singing competition, “Nodojiman”, where she performed live in Tokyo for two seasons in 2011 and 2012.

Joiko has three singles released: “Give It Up”, “Shining Bright”, and “Faded to Grey”. She has been affiliated with record labels JetSet Music Group and Vous Records.  She has worked with producers Dean Mason, Ron Reeser, Made Monster, and more.  Her first EP entitled, “DJ Save My Life” released in stores on March 3, 2015.
