Hello! My name is Axel,

I use he/they pronouns, and I have been cosplaying since 2013! I specialise in crazy, unique wigs which surely try to fight the laws of physics. You will always be able to recognise me for the tons of glitter in my wigs and accessories on the cosplays. I am a licensed cosmetologist who has a passion for helping the community in any way I can! I have hosted panels/meetups since 2015 in a multitude of conventions around the USA. Some of my favourite animes include: Yuri On Ice, Future Diary, Angel Beats, Your Lie in April, and Erased. Some of my favourite video games include: Danganronpa, OMORI, Pokemon, Persona 3, and Project Sekai. Oftentimes, I am the official con parent as I always carry around the essentials so if you ever need something, you can always approach me no matter what I’m doing! I love cultivating a community where we can all rely on each other and have such a fun time no matter the setting. I run around a lot but if you ever need to catch me, I am often in the dealer’s hall or artist’s alley! Just make sure you come up to me since there are lots of times I can’t see very well with the contacts I wear haha. Cosplay has always been a huge passion of mine and I’m always striving to learn more things so I can improve my craft. I use it as my escape, as do many others, and I have made so many friends who all share the same passion that I do. I am so grateful for my amazing support systems who have helped me grow into this person I am today and who can share their passion with the world.

Josh Portillo

is a professional Filipino Voice Actor that works remotely out of Orlando, Florida. Having been a lover of video games, cartoons, and anime since a young age, Josh became a voice actor in 2018 and went full-time in 2022. You can hear him in numerous projects, such as My Deer Friend Nokotan, PaperKlay, Dislyte, Wakfu, Crayola’s Scribble Scrubbies, and many more!
